First Webs, Inc. Modular Online Business Solution   (VC-MOBS)

The First Webs, Inc. Modular Online Business Solution is a collection of web site modules all designed to work together seamlessly in an integrated, flexible, powerful business solution.  With a broad selection of modules, the MOBS can be custom configured to almost any application.  Modules may be substituted at an "At Cost Replacement" allowing for great flexibility while keeping the investment required down to practical levels. 

The ASP.NET architecture of the site allows pages to be dynamically generated, yet load very fast, and be "friendly" to search engines.  The .NET architecture allows for easy integration of external software and Web Services across multiple platforms.

Furthermore, the structure layer of the MOBS and many of it's modular components are compliant with the W3C Web Accessibility Guidelines.  That allows the MOBS to be displayed so that it meets new and pending legislation for viewing by the Handicapped and the Disability Impaired.

Client Requirements:
  • A First Webs, Inc. contract outlining the Terms and Condition of the project is required
  • A site plan will be provided for your review by First Webs, Inc..  Site plan must be agreed upon before any pages are designed for the site; site plan to include the location of all modules
  • You supply all text content for pages titled by page name and in MS Word unformatted text, or online at this site
  • You supply a brief, but accurate description of your business about 250 words in length
  • You supply the keywords that describe your business; i.e. the words your customers will use to find your business on line
  • You supply the titles of fields for Form Manager and Autoresponder message
  • You supply any photos for pages in *.jpeg, *.gif, or *.png; Identify photos by file name and the page on which they are to be used
  • You supply content for Virtual Catalog pages (if included); typically this means all product images, descriptions, and prices
  • 1 year hosting contract term is required with payments upfront annually at launch, or monthly.  Monthly payments are to made; regular invoicing will not be provided.  Default on month hosting payment will result in site being taken offline until entire yearly remaining balance is paid.  Other reinstatement charges may apply.

Approximate Costs:

The initial development cost of the site is completely dependent on the application.  With so much flexibility and expansion, it is not possible to predict a range of cost.  Your application will determine the price of the site. 

Hosting is paid annually upfront at launch, or monthly online.  Hosting is dependent on the configuration of the VGM eStore and can not be predicted as applications vary.
Terms: 

First 50% of the design cost is due upon contract signature.  The balance of 50% may be paid in full at launch.  First Webs, Inc. is open to other payment arrangements.
